Soooo....following the sort of....second historical figure featured in this series ( 1RST TIME around, I think it was the BLACK DAHLIA. )...well, Dr.Thredson's house looks like a modernized version of the Hewitt house from the "Texas Chainsaw Massacre", and the story although it seems to be leaning on various subjects there seems to be a little more concrete to the storyline which took a course, though still vague....BUT STILL...about Fø(KING TIME this story took a course although still vague starting with the 4TH EPISODE in which a new patient is admitted with no I.D. ( Franka Potente i.e. "RUN LOLA RUN" ), as Shelly falls victim to Dr. Frank..er..I mean Arden. Meanwhile, Dr. Oliver Thredson confides that he believes that Lana Winters is O.K and he is willing to help.
The unknown patient´s ID is revealed as she goes APE - SHIT in Jewish cursing on Dr. Arden, and she says her name is ANNE FRANK...Yeah, THAT ANNE FRANK....Sooooo, O.K., this series has just added another notch to its belt of long WEIRD THEMES / HISTORICAL FIGURES / TIME TRAVELERS, which leads to Anne and Sister Jude having a delightful conversation revealing how she survived the holocaust, while Dr.Thredson ( Zachary Quinto ) continues to believe that most of the key characters locked up in the BRIARCLIFF ASYLUM are actually innocent of the reasons for their incarceration ( I should think good ol´ Dr. Spock..er...Thredson has his days numbered...) especially KIT, who is converted into what seems BLOODY FACE or something damned near BLOODY FACE...not to mention the fact that Thredson is conducting his own little sideshow in the Asylum as he attempts to GET RID OF THE LESBIAN SIDE of Lana Winters in a rather interesting way...LOL!! However, Thredson gives up on his experiment on Lana and confesses that he wishes to take her out of the Asylum.
Anne frank continues to reveal more info to Dr. Arden....or should we call him Hans Cooper agent of the evil SS where as in the present day he conducted experiments upon unwilling or unfortunate patients.
Kit begins to believe Dr.Thredson's Story, and then he decides to fø(K Grace on top of the bread dough table, which leads to Sister Jude´s decision of sterilization for the both of them....AND AFTER SUCH A MAYOR SCREW UP...Grace reveals the truth behind her story while Kit seeks redemption with Sister Jude...NO TO MENTION that there´s an investigation which brings 2 homicide detectives to the asylum...questioning Dr. Arden about a "LADY OF THE EVENING" (WHORE?..) which leads to the questioning of the skills required to commit such acts which were blamed upon Kit Walker.
And after all the cursing etc...Anne Frank confronts Dr. Arden about what he did in the past and ends up discovering what happened to Shelley and what´s become of her...which brings us to EPISODE 5 or PART II of "I AM ANNE FRANK", which puts ARDEN under investigation by Sister Jude as to his past, as a MEXICAN STAND - OFF occurs in Jude´s office as Anne Frank´s plan to kill Dr. Arden is thwarted....and we are revealed that ANNE´S real name is Charlotte....AND SHE IS a psychotic mother who believes she´s Anne Frank ( CONVENIENT...)
Elsewhere, Kit is released from solitary while Grace is to be sterilized and...HøLY SH1T!!!....Grace is visited by the same aliens who abducted Kit´s wife ALMA...who by the way is all NAKED AND PREGNANT when Grace sees her.
Dr. Oliver Thredson plans and helps Lana execute the escape plan after dinner and Dr. Arden confronts Sister Jude about the wound sustained by Charlotte, to then threaten her with having her bU77 ASS KICKED OUT from the hospital....plus, Sister Mary seems to have become Dr. Arden´s "LITTLE HELPER" as it seems as she is helping Dr. Arden hide his secrets from Sister Jude and while Shelly the NYMPHO seems to have escaped the asylum grounds and ended up in a school yard, Charlotte / Anne Frank is returned to the asylum after she tryed to kill "her" baby, only to fall under the hands of Dr. Arden to be "OPERATED" upon to make her a "NEW WOMAN"...while Dr. Oliver Thredson and Lana execute their plan of escape, as Sister jude tells her tale of loneliness and the possibility of her services being terminated to security guard Frank.....ONLY TO...ACTUALLY... LEAVE the ASYLUM to return to her life of sin, HøLY Sh1T!!! Meanwhile, Dr. Thredson's true motives are revealed to Lana and Kit, AS THE TRUE "BLOODY FACE" is revealed at long last....and poor Lana is to become the newest addition to Dr.Thredson's lamp collection, and Kit is to be convicted for all the murders he is accused of....Fø(K!!
Now, my personal opinion about this series is this...Unlike its predecessor, this new AHS season is rather odd as to compared to the straight - forwardness of the 1ST ONE, with many twist and turns that are taking place during the storyline, the final outcome is rather unknown and the characters are rather undefined as of yet with many details about who they are and what they are doing in BRIARCLIFF ASYLUM...with not as many time jumps or flashbacks as the 1st season but rather a straight forward story that does intersect with the present so far.....BUT, to what point is the relevance of the present time is yet to be revealed toward the end or mid - season yet. This 2 PART episode was more of the same with no meaning to the story development and revealed very little.....Hope the next one reveals more or at least shows a direction to the plotline of the story.....Final thoughts about this and the entire show.....THIS SHOW BETTER HAVE ONE HELL OF AN ENDING!!! THE 2 PARTS can be seen below...WHILE THEY LAST...
