S10 // "TAKEN 2" MOVIE REVIEW....

"NOT SO SPECIAL SET OF SKILLS!!!"....
//POR ELLIOT ( E-10 ) DIEZ / RIKI LEE// 12 OCTUBRE / 12.....

( E-10 ):  OK.......Sin duda alguna, el EX - AGENTE DE LA CIA BRYAN MILLS ( Liam Neeson ), posee un VERY SPECIAL SET OF SKILLS;  pero la sabiduría o el aprender del pasado no está incluido en ese set, pues al parecer....ni se le ocurrió utilizar cualquier conección posible ( su pana de la CIA, SAM ? ) para hacer el debido check - por si había algún cabo suelto relacionado a MARKO y ese human trafficking ring al que se enfrentó en "TAKEN" ( 2008 ), y para ser más específico, ALGÚN BACKGROUND CHECK que lo llevara a MURAD HOXHA ( interpretado por el ya legendario BAD GUY ACTOR Rade Šerbedžija ), quien es el JEFE O PATRONO de ese grupo.

 A Mills no se le ocurrió encargarse de ese detalle - luego de haber acabado con el hijo de HOXHA y los familiares de todos los individuos que el mató....Solo a Mills se le ocurre llevarse, perdón...SUGERIRLE a su ex ( Leonore ) y su hija ( Kim ) que se encuentren con el en ESTAMBUL para unos dias de REST AND RELAXATION, que obviamente no venían por ahí, pues EUROPA es pequeño para todos los efectos / propósitos de esta película y los bad guys de la misma NO TARDARON MUCHO en dar con MILLS tan pronto el EX - CIA se encontraba en ese pais para otra ronda más de FAMILY KIDNAPPING / CHASING / ASS - KICKING por el propio ZEUS, quien despacha a los bad guys con la facilidad que no tuvo para despachar a los lobos en "THE GREY".

 Aparte de que...DIAAABLOooo, este tipo tiene una facultad para recordar la ruta de un vehículo en marcha mientras esté raptado, encapuchado....y sin poder ver hacia a fuera del vehículo en el que se lo llevan a él y a LENORE....OK, I CAN BUY THAT....Ahora, EL TENER UN SENTIDO DE AUDICIÓN taaaaaaaaan POTENTE que humillaría a DAREDEVIL, pues hay que tener un BUEN OIDO para poder escuchar e identificar RUIDOS de PAJARITOS e INTRUMENTOS MUSICALES DE CUERDA ocurriendo FUERA DE UN VEHÍCULO....EN MARCHA - POR ENCIMA DEL RUIDO DEL MOTOR Y DE LA VAN....y repito....EN MARCHA, con el ruido del vehículo en primer plano....HOOOOLY SH1T, NO WAY!!!

 Aparte de eso....MILAGRO QUE NO VIOLARON A LENORE.....Estos bad guys son unos caballeros, y fuera de los nuevos villanos y eventos alrededor de la familia de Mills, esta película...pues, fue buena...SI NO VISTE LA PRIMERA;  pero ES BÁSICAMENTE EL MISMO PERRO CON DIFERENTE COLLAR.....Quizás debieron cambiar de villanos y no PONER A KIM nuevamente en peligro como lo que precísamente fue lo que se CRITICABA de LA OTRA KIM.....You know, la que es hija de JACK BAUER ( "24" )...y lamentablemente, "TAKEN 2", cuya trama tiene algo de lo que fue SEASON 1 de esa serie de televisión ( BAD GUY FAMILY VENDETTA contra la familia de PROTAGONISTA ) corre - en efecto - como lo que RIKI LEE les dirá en FULL - ENGLISH...

( RIKI LEE ):  So once again we follow the story of super badass Bryan Mills ( LIAM NEESON ) as he continues to live his life as a security agent around the world.  But as is with life, things are not well with his EX - WIFE Lenore ( Famke Janssen ), whose marriage to HUSBAND number 2 is on the rocks and cupid has come around with an arrow for his teenage daughter Kim ( played by TOO - OLD - FOR - THE - ROLE Maggie Grace ) while family members of the bad guys in the 1st movie plot to kill THE EX - C.I.A. and his family.


 This movie is an all - out repeat of the 1st film ( THE NEW "HANGOVER 2" ) with shaken camera action sequences that make everything look confusing as hell....which brings me to the point that LIAM NIEESON is the ZEUS / JEDI of gun play.....In one sequence he shot over 26 rounds out of a single clip ( THAT'S FUCKING GOD - LIKE IF YOU ASK ME!!!  THE ABILITY TO WILL BULLETS MAGICALLY INTO THE CLIP - not even the almighty could perform such a miracle!!! )...

 Asides from the minor details that stick out like a sore thumb, this is actually a good action movie ( IF YOU NEVER SAW THE FIRST FILM....) and if you ask me if it was worth the full admission....well, sure.  That is if there was nothing better to watch ( which there is, and it's called "LOOPER" ).

 This movie doesn't really have anything memorable which the 1st one had, and goes more for the family theme....BESIDES THAT, I really can't say it´s a bad movie, nor can I say it was a great movie.  All in all, I think this is just something to fill out the season as an in - between to whatever other hit ( "TAK3N" ) may be on its way soon ( I HOPE!! )...and for another REVIEW.
