( IN FULL - ENGLISH ) This review will be done from a MARVEL FAN'S Point of view.
As a fan of only a few DC universe characters, I can say that although this game features the character ( s ) I like...Many still remain a mystery to me...But, the storyline in this game is the most EPIC THING I have seen in a while from comic related storylines...
Soooo, in this game we have the Joker who schemes a way to get Superman to kill Lois Lane and his unborn child, thus leading the the destruction of metropolis....How sweet....ABOUT TIME SUPERMAN LOST IT...
The members of the JUSTICE LEAGUE are helpless to stop the Joker from completing his plot, but at the last second BATMAN, GREEN LANTERN, GREEN ARROW, and WONDER WOMAN are transported to an ALTERNATE UNIVERSE where everything´s different ( JOKER FAILED HERE )...Most of SUPERMAN´S allies are the supervillans and most of the superheroes who live under a supreme leader...KAL - EL.
After the death of Lois, and his unborn child, SUPERMAN took over the world causing a cease - fire agreement - in other words...He threatened them - and build a "SAFER WORLD" in memory of Lois and his dead son.
But thus, everything has a price and to Superman´s madness, BATMAN stayed behind plotting an uprising against SUPERMAN ( I´m going mostly by what I read from the comics and implementing this into this review )...
The regular universe superheroes have a space - time continum clusterfuck as the alternate universe superheroes confront the uprising ( WHICH ARE THE GOOD GUYS ) and the clock ticks down as ALTERNATE SUPERMAN continues his march of madness which ultimately leads to the planned destruction of Alternate Gotham and Alternate Metropolis...Now the thing that has me so amazed by this game´s COLLECTOR´S EDITION, was not only the amazing statue of Wonder Woman fighting Batman, nor the fact that it brought the 1st episode of the comic series, The feature - length film "JUSTICE LEAGUE: DOOM" and the NEW 52 character skins for SUPERMAN, BATMAN, and WONDER WOMAN....But also the "RED SON" EXPANSION DLC....THAT'S ALOT OF SH1T!!!!
I can't say that I am a hard - core FIGHTING GAME FREAK...In fact, I´m far from that, but the Brainiacs at NetherRealms ( "MORTAL KOMBAT" ) made such a good game that even an idiot can just sit down and really get into this game - The Combo System is rather easy to figure out and the moves are rather elemental and if you have played any "MORTAL KOMBAT" games before, well you´ re pretty much set!
The graphics are AWESOME, although I was a little disturbed at how much Lex Luthor looked like a CGI Bruce Willis, Wonder Woman reminded me alot of an old school "Xena: Warrior Princess" and Superman looked a lot like "Evil Dead 2's" ASH J. WILLIAMS...Besides that, the voice acting ( ft. veterans from the DC animated series ) was far from second rate, and the soundtrack was rather impressive as well.
To close this review of "INJUSTICE: GODS AMONG US", I can say that as a MARVEL FAN, so far......this is the best comic based video game that has set foot into the market. And that's something that Marvel has to fear as they have launched various games through CAPCOM, but nothing this epic....and although finishable within a 6 hour period, this game features online matches which adds to the replayablility....BTW available for...
iOS, PlayStation 3, Wii, UXbox 360....
PLUS THE ADDITION OF LOBO...THIS GAME JUST WON ME OVER AS A DC FAN!....
