"L4TEST L3AK" REVIEW OF THE TRAILER ( IN FULL - ENGLISH )....
From it's humble beginning to the mega - beast that it has become, the 1 OBVIOUS THING this game screams is "OPEN WORLD!!!!" What that means is quite simple; A complete virtual world for you to get lost in, AS ALWAYS, you play a criminal trying to survive a horrible ordeal that is the main plot...
But what separates this title from the GTAs that came before is the player´s ability to switch between 3 CHARACTERS this time around. WHAT´S REALLY IMPRESSIVE in this 5TH title ( or 13TH if you count the rest ) is the level of detail within the open world environments, from water textures to cloud particles. Environmental A. I. is critical to this game since the world needs to be populated and in this digital version of LOS ANGELES there is heavy need of interesting characters to be found. Where many other games have copied but failed, GTA is still the grand daddy of open world titles and the reason to its long survival is quite simple...THERE IS TOO MUCH $H!T TO DO IN THIS GAME.
Now set in a current timeline - whereas previous titles save for GTA IV took place in an earlier time period - you can wreak havoc IN ANYWAY you can pretty much think of; However, that's not the point to this game ( but it is what most people do ) and as you are obviously trying to pull off your big score you are now able to SWITCH BETWEEN THE 3 CHARACTERS as they live out their every day life, play games ( cue "Inception" music ) yes, play games within a game, drive, fly, swim, dare I even say it......℉⊙℃K ( well, in some of the early GTA'S you could )....Then, you could probably beat the whore to death and take her money...errr....umm, well that's just some of the things you could do in the game and I´m not saying it´s what I would do!!! As with other ROCKSTAR GAMES, another thing that has received a nice level of attention is the MULTIPLAYER aspect of the game, although not much info has been released as to what can be expected; However, ROCKSTAR did mention that you can import your clan from "MAX PAYNE 3", SO THAT´S A VERY INTERESTING CONCEPT. Although, there could be a slight wrinkle since GTA V is coming this September with the release of the PS4 further down the line and for what I have seen, this will be released for PS3 and XBOX 360, so sales might not be as shocking as ROCKSTAR might be expecting....
One of the many details I AM EAGERLY WAITING FOR, is the radio stations in the game; While driving around the city, its always nice to turn on the radio and just listen to some tunes while dodging the police, or what ever it is you decide to do in GTA.
